Long Term Plan

What happens at merge

When a boost server reaches its merge date, characters and most inventory items transfer to the target Main Legacy server. However, not all items carry over - certain boost-specific items, clan data, clan halls, and castles do not transfer to avoid disrupting the legacy economy. Your character, gear, adena, and general inventory move into a permanent no-wipe world where you continue playing alongside characters from previous cycles. Name conflicts are resolved by adding a suffix to the newer character. For the full list of what transfers and what does not, read the merge rules page. This system ensures that every hour spent on a x20, x3, or x12 boost server contributes to your long-term account on a Lineage2 Interlude permanent world. New boost server cycles launch every two months, giving players regular opportunities to join fresh economies and progress through the craft PvP ecosystem.

Note: The dates below follow the planned rotation and automatically avoid obvious calendar pressure points where possible, especially around New Year and Orthodox Easter. Final live dates may still move if needed because of calendar events such as Christmas, New Year, Easter, or other important events. Any such change should be announced before the corresponding date. If considered necessary, Warland may also skip a merge or opening, or introduce short transition breaks between cycles, in order to better align the schedule with operational, seasonal, or community needs.
